A high-quality, large Swiss spindle watch with repetition and with a heavy gold watch chain, circa 1820. This is a watch with an 18K gold engine-turned case. It has a spindle movement with an hour and quarter-hour repeater. The gold engine-turned dial has black Breguet-style numerals on circular white enamel, outer minutes track, and fine Breguet steel hands. However, the movement needs an overhaul, the dial has some defects, and the glass is also loose. The watch has a red gold heavy 14K watch chain, weighing approximately 37 g.
