A large Swiss, 18K gold hunting cased, keyless, quarter repeating pocket watch with chronograph, triple date calendar and moon phases, circa 1900. A solid, polished case, hinged gold cuvette. White enamel dial with radial Roman numerals, outer minute track and outermost fifths of a second chronograph division, subsidiary dials for the date, days of the week, the months, the seconds and the moon’s age, aperture for the moon phases. Gilt Louis XV hands. A frosted gilt movement, 19 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, index regulator, visible chronograph work, repeating activated by a push-button on the band. Movement numbered.
