A French 18 carat yellow gold open faced keyless pocket watch, made by Breguet in Paris, circa 1918. With two horological complications: Instantaneous 60 minute counter, subsidiary dial at 12 o’clock and 1/5 second chronograph, activated by the single push piece located on the crown. A polished case back, white enamel dial with suspended Breguet numerals, minute counter, subsidiary seconds at 6 and yellow gold Spade hands. A gilded brass movement, going barrel, straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensated balance with gold poising screws and blued steel hairspring with terminal curve, polished steel index regulator with swanneck spring and micrometric screw, chronograph work on the top plate. Signature on the case, dial and movement.
