A very fine Swiss 14 carat gold and enamel open faced keyless pendant watch made by Longines, circa 1900. Retailed by Wittnauer & Co in New York, U.S.A. The bezel and back are overlaid with grey blue translucent guilloché enamel depicting floral and fabric details and a Grecian border, a further snap-on back. Polished gold dial with Arabic hour numerals, an outer dot minute track and blued steel Breguet hands. A rhodium plated movement with Geneva striping decoration, 15 jewels, straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance adjusted to three positions, blued steel flat balance spring and an index regulator. Case, dial and movement signed.
