Gold open faced quarter repeater

A fine and very rare Swiss/English 18 carat rose gold open faced quarter repeating keyless lady’s lever watch, circa 1900. Frosted gilt movement, lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel flat balance spring, Polished steel index regulator. Repeating on gongs activated by pushing the pendant. Gold-hinged cuvette.
Silver dial with Arabic numerals, outer dot minute divisions, subsidiary seconds, and original blued decorative hands. Polished gold case with enamel monogram. Cuvette signed: Weill & Co. London.
