Gold watch with perpetual calendar and moon phase

A very fine and elegant Swiss 18K yellow gold, keyless, astronomical, dress watch, circa 1949. With perpetual calendar and moon phase. Accompanied by the Extract from the Archives, sold on February 5, 1951. Polished, concave bezel. Satiné silver dial with applied gold Arabic numerals and dot indexes, outer minute divisions, subsidiary dials for days of the week, the months of the leap year cycle, the date and the seconds with inner moon phase aperture. Gold Feuille hands.

Rhodium-plated movement, Geneva striping decoration, 18 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, adjusted for heat, cold, isochronism and five positions, blued steel Breguet balance spring with swan-neck micrometre regulator. Dial, case and movement signed.
