–
A fine Swiss 18 carat yellow gold full hunter pocket watch, circa 1900. It has a mechanical crown winding movement with a lever escapement and a bimetallic compensation balance wheel. The white enamel dial shows black Arabic numerals for the hours, an outer railway minute track, and a subsidiary seconds dial at 6 o’clock. The timepiece is housed in a round three body, 18 carat solid yellow gold full hunter case with finely guilloché front and back covers. The back cover is centred with a chased vacant shield cartouche framed by detailed asymmetrical foliate scrolls. It has a fluted winding crown, a sturdy round suspension bow, and a solid 18 carat gold inner protective cuvette.
