Gold lever watch with a monogram

A Swiss 18K pink gold keyless hunting cased pocket watch, circa 1900. Retailed by E.A. Whipple, Springfield, Massachusetts. The case band is engraved with a foliage pattern, and the front is covered with a monogram SAW. White enamel dial with black radial Arabic numerals, an outer minute ring with red Arabic numerals and blued steel Breguet hands. Rhodium plated movement, Geneva striping decoration, lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, cam micrometre regulator. Dial, case and movement signed E.A. Whipple, the movement signed Patek Philippe.
