A Swiss 18 carat yellow gold open faced pocket watch from the early 20th century. It has a mechanical movement with a cylinder escapement. The white enamel dial shows bold black Roman numerals for the primary hours (I–XII) and an inner ring of red Arabic numerals for the 24 hour scale (13–24). There is a subsidiary seconds dial at the 6 o’clock position and gilt Louis XV style hands. The 18 carat gold case back is decorated with an intricate floral motif on an engine turned background.
