A Swiss 18 carat yellow gold open faced pocket watch, circa 1900. It has a mechanical movement with a lever escapement. The white enamel dial shows bold black Roman numerals for the hours, an outer railway minute track with Arabic numerals at five minute intervals, a subsidiary seconds dial at 6 o’clock, and gilt hands. The 18 carat yellow gold case features a fluted crown and a rounded bow at 12 o’clock, with an inner gold dust cover. The case back is engraved with numbers.
