A Swiss 18 carat yellow gold open faced pocket watch, made by International Watch Co., circa 1900. This watch has a hand wound mechanical gilt brass lever movement with a gilt metal winding mechanism and a bimetallic compensation balance. The white enamel dial shows painted black Roman numerals for the hours, baton hour markers, a minute track, a subsidiary seconds dial at 6 o’clock, and gold arabesque hands. It features a round, solid gold open faced case with a fluted crown, a decorative geometric hexagonal bow, and a double gold back cuvette with a perlage finish inside. The case back is marked with the official 18K gold hallmark and the IWC logo.
