A fine Swiss 18 carat yellow gold open faced pocket watch, circa 1900. It has a mechanical, manually wound movement with a lever escapement, frosted gilded finish, and traditional bridge plate layout. The white enamel dial displays black Arabic numerals for the hours, an outer minute track numbered from 5 to 60, a subsidiary seconds dial at 6 o’clock, and decorative gilt Louis XV style hands. The timepiece is housed in a substantial 18 carat solid yellow gold open faced case. The case back is intricately engraved with a stylized scrolling foliate monogram. It includes a matching 18 carat gold cuvette, a fluted winding crown, and a sturdy round suspension bow.
