–
A fine Swiss 18 carat yellow gold open faced pocket watch with chain made by Omega, circa 1900. This watch has a mechanical crown winding movement calibre 18LPB, signed Omega. The movement features a frosted gilt finish, a traditional lever escapement, a bimetallic compensation balance, and an engraved balance cock with index regulator. The white enamel dial shows black Arabic numerals for the hours, an outer railroad minute track, a subsidiary seconds dial at 6 o’clock, and gold spade hands. The timepiece is housed in a round 18 carat solid yellow gold case. It has a gold cuvette, a finely engraved ornate monogram with the initials CE on the back cover, a fluted winding crown, and a round suspension bow.
