A Swiss 14K yellow gold quarter repeating hunting cased pocket watch with chronograph, circa 1900. Accompanied by gold-plated brass chain and fob.
A polished case, button at 12 for the chronograph and a hinged gold cuvette.
White enamel dial with radial Roman numerals, outer minute track with Arabic numerals at 5-minute intervals and 1/5th of a seconds divisions, subsidiary seconds and gilt Louis XIV hands. Frosted gilt movement, jewelled, counterpoised straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring with overcoil, index regulator, repeating on gongs activated by a slide on the band, column wheel chronograph exposed. Case and movement numbered.
