An ornamental Swiss 14 carat gold and enamel open faced Art Deco style pendant watch made by Longines Watch Co, circa 1911. Retailed by Wittnauer & Co in New York, U.S.A. The signed rhodium plated bridge movement has Geneva striping decoration, 15 jewels, three adjustments, a lever escapement and screw compensation balance. The case back features translucent light blue sunray engine turned enamel and a rim with acanthus foliage, the band and bezel are decorated to match and the winding crown is set with a blue enamel cabochon. The gilt dial has an engine turned center, Arabic hour numerals, outer dot minute divisions and blued Breguet hands. The watch comes with a matching chain with light blue translucent enamel links and pearls.
