A Swiss gentleman’s very fine, extremely rare automatic pocket watch with regulator dial and early oscillating weight winding, circa 1805. 18-carat pink gold, polished case with case maker punch mark JJ. Enamel dial with peripheral hour indication with radial Roman numerals, centre seconds, regulator scale and Breguet gold hands. Frosted gilt full plate movement with cylinder escapement and winding by oscillating weight.
