A fine and unusual, ball shaped, sterling silver and rhinestones desk clock with an erotic automaton. Made by Corum in a limited edition of 500 pieces in the late 1990’s. Two body and sterling silver case with bezel set with 13 clear and 13 red rhinestones, thick round glass back with flat section to form a base with stand, ball-shaped winding crown and bow and thick domed crystal.
Multi coloured lacquered love scene with polychrome enamelled round indexes set with silver Arabic numerals and blued steel Breguet hands. Rhodium-plated movement with 17 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, monometallic balance and a flat balance spring.
Case and movement signed.
