Brass watch in a mahogany box

A Swiss brass keyless chronometer with 40 hour power reserve, made by Zenith in Le Locle, circa 1925. An open faced, keyless, precision counter clock with a screwed bezel, mounted in a mahogany three body hinged rectangular shaped box. A silvered dial, Roman numerals, subsidiary seconds at 9 and one horological complication: 40 hour power reserve indication, sector at 3 o’clock. A rhodium plated movement, going barrel, straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensated balance with gold poising screws and blued steel hairspring with terminal curve, polished steel index regulator with swanneck spring and precision regulating device for fast/slow by means of an eccentric snail. Signature on the dial, case and movement.
