The three tone silvered sector dial with black champlevé baton hour indexes, Arabic quarter hour numerals, an outer minute track, subsidiary seconds at 6 o’clock and blued steel leaf hands. The multi tone sector dial is an excellent example of Art Deco design. The contrasting polished and matte surfaces are reminiscent of chrome and frosted glass objects, which were considered to be the height of fashion. The clarity of the dial is also typical of the Art Deco desire for clean lines.
