Burnished iron pendant watch

A rare coin box with an integrated watch made in Switzerland, circa 1900. The hinged coin box is crafted from burnished iron with a brass center section, it features a gilt interior and a built in coin compartment. A pencil holder is integrated on the left side, while the inside lid is fitted with a polished bone plate for note taking. The especially fine guilloché blue enamel dial with gold Arabic hour numerals, outer dot minute divisions and gold spade hands. The numbered movement has a cylinder escapement.
