A Swiss Omega Olympic chronograph ‘rattrapante’ with split seconds from the 1960’s.
Chromed plain metal case. Gilt precision lever movement with chronograph ‘rattrapante’, split seconds, calibre 1132,  fine adjusting device, 21 jewels, high speed oscillator. Silvered dial with Olympia marking, Arabic radial hours, outer minutes and seconds track with Arabic five minutes and seconds numerals, red and black split seconds, subsidiary dial for the constant seconds, subsidiary dial for the 30 min counter and blued steel hands.

Rattrapante (flyback hand)
In split seconds chronographs, a second center seconds hand that can move while remaining superposed on the first hand but can be stopped independently and then made to fly back to join the first hand as it moves; it can also be stopped and brought back to zero together with the first hand.
