A Swiss, heavy and exceptionally large astronomical gold hunting cased watch with seven complications, circa 1900. Made for the Russian market. This complicated watch features a 14K pink gold case and a complex lever movement mechanism, including a chronograph, quarter-hour repeater, triple calendar, moon phase, and moon age. The enamel dial displays an outer minutes/seconds track with Arabic numerals for five minutes/seconds, date, Cyrillic weekdays, Cyrillic months, moon phase and moon age, subsidiary seconds, chronograph scale, and blued steel hands. It is in good condition.
