Gold case, with painted and ‘braisse taille’ enamel, signed by Simon Hackett London, 1650. Dial with enamel scene of two people sitting at the edge of a forest, Roman numerals, full plate movement, chain/fusee, three arm brass balance. The back has a portrait of young men on a horse, the outer chapter is translucent orange/yellow enamel, Verge escapment.
