This interesting item has been signed by James Murset, whose work is hardly known. James Murset occasionally appears on Albert H. Potter watches with the signature James Murset, Horloger – Régleur. The Swiss watchmaker Louis James Murset was born on March 7, 1865, in Diesse near Biel. He probably lived in Besançon since his two children were born there. However, the exact date of Murset’s death is not yet known.
