A Swiss decorative minute repeating gentleman’s pocket watch, circa 1900. This is a pocket watch that features an 18-carat gold case that has been engraved with floral designs in the à goutte style. The case also includes a signed gold dome and slide for the repeating mechanism. The enamel dial is signed and displays Arabic numerals, an auxiliary seconds sub-dial, and Louis XVI hands. The movement is rhodium-plated and has a 1/2 plate design with fausses côtes decoration, two hammers, two gongs, a chatoned centre wheel, and a screw compensation balance.
