A fine and unusual ball shaped sterling silver and rhinestones desk clock with erotic automaton in the collectors series “The hours of love”. Made by Corum La Chaux-de-Fonds Switzerland in a limited edition of 500 pieces in the late 1990’s. Two body, sterling silver case its bezel set with 13 clear and 13 green rhinestones, thick round glass back with flat section to form a base with stand, ball shaped winding crown and bow and thick domed crystal.
Multi coloured lacquered love scene with polychrome enameled round indexes set with silver Arabic numerals and blued steel Breguet hands. Rhodium-plated movement with 17 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, monometallic balance and flat balance spring.
Case and movement signed.
