A Swiss gold, Niello and diamond set hunting cased pocket watch, circa 1990. The timepiece features a gilded movement with intricate engravings of scrolling foliage, a lever escapement, and a jewelled centre, as well as a compensation balance. The dial is formed by the movement’s top plate, adorned with matching decorations to the back plate, and complemented by blued steel hands. Its 18K gold case is embellished with chased and engraved flowers, some set within a niello background, and a band of gold and niello feathered decoration. Additionally, the front and back of the case are centred with shield shaped cartouches the front one being pavé diamond set and the back one vacant. The timepiece also features scooped bezels, a glazed cuvette with a gold rim, and is signed Girard Perregaux, 608 OJ on the covers.

The movement is running smoothly and appears to be in good aesthetic condition. The winding and hand setting function smoothly. The dial and top plate are in good condition. The case is in good overall condition, with a few light scratches and some scuffs.
