A Swiss 14 carat gold hunting cased double dial calendar watch with moon phase, made for the Russian market in the early 20th century. This watch has a manual winding lever movement. It features two dials. On the front is an enamel dial with Roman numerals, a central moon phase aperture, subsidiary seconds, and Louis XV style hands. The back has a dial with a hinged calendar plate, concentric adjustable day and date rings in Cyrillic, a month aperture, and an indicating hand. The 18 carat engine gold case has blanco cartouches on both sides.
