A fine Swiss 18 Carat pink gold, hunting cased, keyless, quarter repeating watch with automaton, circa 1900. The front cover with monogrammed crest, gold hinged cuvette with inscription. Vari coloured gilt dial with two painted on enamel ladies ringing the bells on top, at centre red translucent enamel subsidiary dials with radial Roman numerals for the hours, minutes and seconds. Gilt Louis XV hands. A gilt movement, 14 jewels, straight-line counterpoised lever escapement, cut-bimetallic compensation balance, Breguet balance spring, repeating on gongs by activating slide on the band. Cuvette signed.
