A large Swiss, gilt and painted on enamel keyless pocket watch with a semi erotic scene, circa 1900. The case has a gilt bow, bezel and hinges, and the back cover is decorated with a painted on enamel panel portrait of a standing nude lady gazing in a hand mirror, against a translucent red guilloche enamel background. Hinged gun metal cuvette, gilt rimmed glazed cover over the movement. Cream enamel dial with bold radial Roman numerals, outer minute track with Arabic five minute numerals, subsidiary seconds and gilt Louis XVI hands. Matte gilt movement, straight line lever escapement, monometallic balance, blued steel flat balance spring, index regulator.
