A fine Swiss gilt keyless winding rare small hunting cased Swiss pocket watch with minute repeater movement and centre seconds, made for the Chinese market, circa 1900. Gilt keyless lever bridge pattern movement, lever set, uncut bimetallic balance with overcoiled spring, jewelled through the centre wheel, repeating on gongs by means of slide on the band.
White enamel dial signed in Chinese characters, minute track enclosing roman numerals, gilt hands.
Within an engine turned gold filled case with vacant cartouche.
