A fairytale Swiss 18K gold and painted-on enamel lady’s keyless pendant watch, circa 1900. A chased foliate bezel and band, the back cover decorated with a painted-on enamel scene of a water nymph crouching on a rock by a stream, border engraved to match the bezel and a hinged gold cuvette. White enamel dial with black Arabic numerals, outer gold dot minute indexes and gilt Louis hands. A frosted gilt movement, bar calibre, eight jewels, cylinder escapement, plain three-arm balance, blued steel flat balance spring, and an index regulator. Case, cuvette and movement signed.
