Gold lever open faced watch

A very fine and rare Swiss 18K gold and ramolayé enamel keyless lady’s pendant watch, circa 1900. Rhodium plated movement, 15 jewels, straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel flat balance spring, index regulator.
Case, bezel and band decorated with aquamarine ramolayé enamel with gold leaf scrolls, the back cover decorated to match and with foliate scrolls issuing from a grotesque griffon.
Opalescent sunray guilloché enamel dial with radial black dauphine numerals, outer gilt dot minute markers. Gold Louis XV hands. Case with V & C symbol, movement signed for the retailer, case and movement with V & C numbers.
