Vaucher Fréres à Genève was active in Geneva from 1780 to 1830. The company was founded by Daniel Vaucher and Pierre-François Vaucher. The third brother Abraham Vaucher became enamel expert and goldsmith, he probably also worked for the company. His daughter Jeanne-Marguerite married the watchmaker Jean-Jacques Jequier. Vaucher Fréres à Genève was known for its so-called “bras en l’air” watches, they also manufactured finest automatons, repeaters and music watches.
