A fine, Swiss 14K gold and enamel hunting cased keyless presentation pocket watch, the case applied with the Russian Imperial arms, circa 1900. Imperial presentation watch by Paul Buhre. Made for the Russian Court. The front with applied gold Imperial Eagle with enamel decoration. Hinged gold cuvette. White enamel dial, radial Roman numerals, outer minute track with five-minute Arabic numerals, subsidiary seconds. Gold circle and baton hands. A rhodium-plated movement, 15 jewels, wolf’s tooth winding, straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance with blued steel Breguet balance spring, index regulator. Cuvette signed in Cyrillic.
