A Swiss, particularly large and heavy astronomical gold hunting cased pocket watch with minute repeater and chronograph, circa 1900.
Exquisite precision lever movement with six complications, fine adjustment, minute repeater, chronograph and full calendar with moon phase. Enamel dial with Arabic numerals, outer minutes and fifths of a second division calibrated from 0-300 units, chronograph, subsidiary dial for the constant seconds at 6; date of the month, subsidiary dial at 12; phases of the moon, aperture at 6: two small displays for the digital date, and steel hands. Polished 18K red gold hunting case in exceptional quality.
