A very fine and rare Swiss, 18K yellow gold, keyless dress watch with centre seconds, circa 1927. Accompanied by the original Patek Philippe morocco fitted box, original Certificat d’Origine and spare crystal. Made for the Hispanic market. A polished case, hinged gold cuvette. White enamel dial with Art Deco Arabic numerals, outer minute and fifths of a second track with Arabic five minute/seconds numerals. Blued steel Breguet hands. A rhodium-plated movement, Geneva striping decoration, 19 jewels, wolf’s tooth winding, extra wheel and bridge for the centre seconds, straight-line moustache lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance with eight adjustments, blued steel Breguet balance spring, index regulator. Dial, case, cuvette and movement signed. From the Collection of a Spanish Gentleman.
