An American 18K yellow gold minute repeating keyless pocket watch, circa 1910. A solid, polished case, repeat slide to the band, hinged gold cuvette inscribed in script To my Curley William J. Hammer. White enamel dial with Arabic numerals, outer minute track, sunk subsidiary seconds dial and blued steel spade hands. A rhodium-plated movement, 31 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, swan-neck regulator, repeating on gongs. Dial and movement signed, case numbered.
