A fine Swiss stainless steel keyless pocket watch with a chronograph, circa 1960. Made for the United States military. Reeded bezels, the front and back screw-down, the back with designations, co-axial button in the crown for the start/stop and return-to-zero functions of the chronograph. Black dial with Arabic numerals, outer minute track and 1/5th of a second division, subsidiary seconds dial and 30-minute register and white spade hands. A brushed movement, 18 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, monometallic compensation balance adjusted to three positions, steel Breguet balance spring, and swan-neck regulator. Dial, case and movement signed.
