Gold, enamel and diamond-set beetle-form watch

A fine Swiss 18 carat gold, enamel and diamond-set beetle-shaped pendant watch with a concealed dial and matching brooch in the form of a salamander, circa 1900.
Glazed bridge movement, a pin-set cylinder escapement, jewelled through the centre.
The spring-loaded wings are decorated with translucent green enamel and studded with rose-cut diamonds, the neck is also diamond-set, the head and hinged belly are realistically chased and engraved, the eyes represented by two ruby cabochons. White enamel dial with blue Arabic hours and a red 12, outer gold minute dots and spade & whip hands.
