Gold, enamel and pearl set watch made for the Chinese market

A very fine Swiss 18 carat gold, enamel and diamond-set open faced centre seconds verge pocket watch with regulator dial made for the Chinese market, circa 1820.
Gilt frosted full plate movement, key-winding, chain/fusee, circular movement pillars, three-arm brass balance, fine florally engraved and pierced balance bridge.
White enamel dial, eccentric hour indication with Arabic numerals at 6, centre seconds, eccentric chapter ring for the date at 12 and filigree hands. The case back engine-turned with translucent cobalt blue enamel, a central polychrome enamel miniature painting after Rinaldo & Armida by Angelica Kauffmann, diamond-set foliate decor and bezel. Dial and movement signed.
