A fine and elegant Swiss, 18K gold, enamel and pearl-set, lady’s keyless pendant watch, circa 1900. Retailed by Ratel, 55 Rue Monsieur Le Prince. A pearl-set bezel, the back cover overlaid with translucent royal blue enamel over sunray engine-turning, pearl-set border. Hinged gold cuvette. White enamel dial with radial Roman numerals, outer minute track and Arabic five-minute numerals. Gilt Louis XV hands. A matte gilt movement, eight jewels, wolf’s tooth winding, cylinder escapement, three-arm brass balance, blued steel flat balance spring, index regulator. Movement signed.
