A fine Swiss gold and enamel verge watch made for the Turkish market, circa 1820.
Gilt full plate verge movement, pierced and engraved balance bridge, plain three armed balance, silver regulation dial.
White enamel dial with Turkish numerals, outer track for the minute graduation and Arabic signature. Case fully decorated with polychrome champlevé enamel to the edge on both sides, the back with enamel painted plaque depicting an allegorical trophy. Dial signed.
