A gentleman’s Geneva pocket watch with split seconds chronograph delivered to Spaulding & Co. Jewellers Chicago, circa 1893.
18k pink gold case, polished, monogrammed, à goutte, numbered and signed gold dome with engraving, pusher for chronograph at “11”. Enamel dial, radial Arabic numerals, auxiliary seconds, signed, Louis XV hands. Bridge movement, nickel-plated, “fausses côtes” decoration, very finely ground bevelled chronograph steel parts, ratchet wheel, gold screw compensation balance, counterpoised lever.
