A fine Swiss, gilt metal full hunter cased pocket watch, made for the Islamic market, circa 1830. A polished case, the band with raised lobed decoration, reeded pendant. Fixed cuvette. White enamel dial with radial Islamic numerals, outer dot minute divisions and outermost Islamic five minute numerals. Blued steel Breguet hands. Matte gilt movement, full plate, ring turned pillars, fusee and chain, verge escapement, three arm polished steel balance with wide rim, flat balance spring, pierced and chased single footed cock, regulation dial with Islamic numerals.
Dial signed, movement signed in Arabic.
