A fine Swiss 18 carat yellow gold lady’s open faced pendant/collar watch with a matching gem set brooch, circa 1900. It has a mechanical crown winding movement with a cylinder escapement. The cream enamel dial features black Roman numerals for the hours, an outer minute track, and delicate hands. The timepiece is housed in a small round 18 carat yellow gold open faced case with a reverse back cover intricately chased with scroll motifs. It has a fluted winding crown, a suspension bow, and a solid 18 carat gold inner protective cuvette showing minor chips and knocks. The watch hangs from an openwork 18 carat yellow gold brooch pin set with a line of brilliant cut diamonds and four claw set round rubies. (Brooch length: 5.5 cm).
