A Swiss decorative 18 Carat gold and enamel open faced cylinder pocket watch from Geneva, circa 1820.
Richly decorated, high quality case with scalloped rims, the back is divided into 12 segments with sections of flowers, musical instruments and trophies of war painted on alternating rose- and turquoise coloured enamel ground, the front is worked in the same style. White enamel dial with Roman hours and outer minute divisions. Movement with Lépine calibre, cylinder escapement and three arm brass balance.
