A very fine Swiss 18 carat gold open faced gentleman’s keyless pocket watch made by Ulysse Nardin in Le Locle and Geneva, circa 1928. Comes with the original presentation box and an extract from the chronometer archives by Andreas Hidding. The polished case with a numbered and signed gold cuvette featuring the engraving Chronomètre No. 20844 Bulletin 1ère Classe de l’Observatoire Astronomique de Neuchâtel. Signed white enamel dial with Roman hour numerals, an outer minute track, auxiliary seconds at 6 o’clock and blued spade hands. Rhodium plated bridge movement with Geneva striping decoration, a gold chatoned center wheel, Guillaume gold screw compensation balance and an index spring fine adjusting device.
