A very fine English, 18K gold, hunting cased pocket watch with power reserve indication, circa 1864. A polished case with a reeded band, the case with London hallmarks for 1864-1865. Fixed gold cuvette. White enamel dial with radial Roman numerals, outer minute track, subsidiary seconds and power reserve indication. Blued steel pear hands. A frosted and gilt, three-quarter plate movement, jewels in screwed chatons, fusee with chain and maintaining power, lateral lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, diamond endstone, index regulator. Dial and movement signed.
