A Swiss 18k yellow gold quarter repeating chronograph hunting cased keyless pocket watch, circa 1900. A polished case, button at 12 for the start/ stop and return-to-zero functions of the chronograph. Hinged case back and a round bezel. White enamel dial with black Arabic numerals, outer minute track and 1/5th of a second division, subsidiary seconds dial and blued steel spade hands. Nickel movement, 16 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, centrifugal governor, index regulator, repeating on gongs activated by a slide on the band. Case signed.
